Mandatory Meetings

Annual General Meeting of the Berkshire Youth Cricket League

1. The meeting will normally be held on the last Tuesday in November of each year.

The 2008 Annual General Meeting will be on Tuesday 25th November 2008 at the Royal Berkshire Sports and Social Club, Sonning Lane, Reading, RG4 6ST starting at 8:00 pm.

2. The AGM is held for the purpose of:

  • receiving the Chairman's report
  • receiving and approving the audited report and accounts
  • to elect the Officers and Committee for the following 12 months
  • to elect an auditor
  • Member club deciding any changes to the Constitution, Rules and Playing Rules
A quorum for the AGM and proposals requires two thirds of the member clubs attending

Submissions, proposals and nominations for consideration at the AGM must received by the Secretary in writing no later than the 30th September preceding the AGM.

Annual Fixtures Meeting of the Berkshire Youth Cricket League

1. The meeting will normally be held on the last Tuesday in January of each year.

The 2009 Fixtures Meeting is on Tuesday 27th January at the Royal Berkshire Sports and Social Club, Sonning Lane, Reading, RG4 6ST starting at 8:00 pm.

2. The Fixtures meeting is held for the purpose of club representatives agreeing and setting their various age group matches for the coming season.

3. (Proposal for 2009) Changes may be made up to and including the start of the season after which matches may only be postponed due to inclement weather.

Clubs attending reserve the right to offer dates to any opponent not in attendance. Failure to agree dates may ultimately result in points being awarded under the rules agreed by clubs at the AGM.
