Testimonials

We had the great pleasure of touring the U.K. for two weeks, on a cricket and tennis tour. The second week of the tour consisted of the Clifton College Festival, organized and directed by Tony Wright. Accommodation at Clifton College was excellent, and there was plenty for us to do in the surrounding area during down-time. Not only was the tournament exceptionally well run, but Tony also set up extra fixtures, outside the tournament, for our Colts XI and for our tennis team in the Bristol area – something that was certainly above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, when the rain set in, pretty much at the drop of a hat, Tony organized a superb alternative programme for all the teams, including our Colts and the tennis boys. It would have been so easy for him to leave their arrangements up to us, but he made sure they were welcomed and made to feel part of the Clifton Week. It turned out to be a super festival, and I’d recommend it as being worth including in the planning of a tour to the U.K. I certainly hope that we can participate again in the not-too-distant future.

“The Cardiff & Vale U15 side thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural Clifton College Festival. It was a fun week, well organised with plenty of excellent cricket played. The format - a 40 over competition followed by a 20/20 on the final day was splendid. We would love to enter again next year!”
