Welfare
All clubs are reminded that they have a duty of care to
their young players.
A number of ECB directives and guidelines have ben
published:

- ECB Junior cricketers playing in Adult matches
- ECB Safety guidance on the wearing of cricket helmets by young players
All players under the age of 18 must wear a helmet when a
hard cricket ball is in use. It should be noted that
parental consent is no longer applicable.
